I am female and I have big feet! I have tried a variety of walking shoes but non fit or are as comfortable as these for me. Any other women out there with big feet interested in a male shoe, If you wear a size 9 get a men's size 8. I wear a women's size 12 and the men's size 11 fit me perfectly. I have been wearing the shoes (white in summer and black in winter) since the early 1990's.

I have always had pretty good luck with New Balance shoes. I have a very hard time finding shoes to fit correctly due to my narrow feet. These are not a perfect fit but they are comfortable for my purposes. I have not tried to walk long distances in them yet so I cannot honestly comment about them for walking. They are good for hours of standing from what I have experienced so far.
