I had to take my son in for some heel problems he was having as he is growing and will be turning 11 soon. Podiatrist highly recommended this shoes for their full support of the feet. My son was using another brand that is very stylish but the shoes itself have no good support. He started wearing them the day after he got them and his heel has recovered. He used orthopedic inserts when he was very young and all throughout his young life, I made sure that he wore strong shoes but as they get older they want to be more stylish. Now we are back to just looking for shoes that look good but are high quality as well. This is a great buy! My husband and I use asics as well and love them.
