Fortunately I've bought Rockports before and they use standard sizing. The Amazon page can be a bit confusing since they offer multiple sizing options for the non-U.S. consumer. But pay attention and you will find the U.S. measures embedded along with all the European stuff.

I like this particular shoe. It's comfortable and looks good. My old ones wore out and I couldn't find new ones at the local brick-and-mortar store for a reasonable price. Much as I like to support local business, the selections and prices here can't be beat.

I had to return this product because I ordered my normal size 6 and it was huge. I had to re-order and this time I went for a size 5. Size 5 was still a size too big for me. I would have gone with a 4.5, but at this point I don't want to return again. I suggest going 2 sizes down.
