This is a changed review. I have bought the ProWalker almost exclusively for about ten years but recently there have been some changes which have caused me to change my high opinion of them. The quality of the leather has gone down badly. That, together with the elimination of the metal shoelace eyelets, caused the past two ProWalkers I have bought to tear through at the first two shoelace holes within a couple of weeks. I took them to a shoe repair shop, had metal eyelets put in and the tear repaired. Within a few days, they tore again. I do not believe that I will ever buy Rockport again.

I would like to see more cushion inside the shoe. The support is minimal. Overall construction is very good. I would like to Rockport spend a few more pennies on maybe memory foam, or something similar. Some lower end shoes are more comfortable. Rockport has a great reputation, maybe management should revisit the quality of the past.
