I purchased these shoes strictly for working outside on the landscape. They look very comfortable and they are very comfortable -- right from the first wearing. The biggest plus, though, is that my feet have not been wet since wearing these shoes. They're very waterproof. There is not much arch support -- but not everyone needs extra arch support and those who do can easily add one. Highly recommended shoe.
