So I think the shoes are ok. They came in a New Balance kids sandals box for starters... they were lightly wrapped in tissue with no tissue inside the shoe. Each shoe has what appears to be a slight skuff but the tread does not appear to have been worn but there is a small amount of glitter on the bottom of each shoe. I felt no foot or toe indentations inside the shoe... so I'm not sure what's going on here. Im planning on keeping them since they are back up shoes for school which get wrecked pretty quickly but paying full price for a shoe that has signs of being used by someone... that makes me rather upset. I bought a different pair of sauconys and they came wrapped tightly in tissue paper with tissue inside the shoe in the correct shoe box... I'll pay full price for that.

These have been through every mud puddle in a 5 mile radius of our house and are still going strong. I love that there is one joined velcro strap...makes it that much easier to put on. The material is great and my baby loves them (although not as much as the shoes which blink/light up when you walk, of course!). They seem very comfortable and the color is better than appears in the photo. (We have the royal blue one) A little girl in our music class has the purple and they are great too!
