Shoes stretch out and become 2 wide after a few months. I purchased 2 pair and rotate which ones I wear daily. They still only last a few months.

This first report is just about the size. I just bought these shoes (November 2015), and have done one run in them. I am an honest Men's 11 EE. I have been measured several times by boot-fitting professionals...they all say, 11 EE. I have needed running shoes marked from 11 EE all the way to 13 D (no kiddling). These Asics are 12 4E, and fit me quite well. A tad narrow in the toe area, but fine.

After I get some real miles on them, I will report back.

UPDATE (11-30-15) after five 1-hour runs

The shoes are fine for me. A good mix of cushion and stability. The soles may be a tad stiff...not terrible. Also, the shoe is not as "deep" as I like...this is a common fit issue. My last perfect shoes were the New Balance 760...they were nice and deep. But, the current New Balance 870 costs $110, and that is just too much for me.

All said, these will work fine. I'm 220 pounds and do 1-hour runs in these shoes every 4th day.

I will report back if there are problems.

I am now six months into these shoes. They continue to be comfortable and holding up well. Much more durable than a pair on New Balance 680s that I am also running in right now. The Asics look brand new. Right now, I am saying I would buy them again. If I were to have any complaint, they may be s bit stiff...not really a problem, just an observation. I had a pair of Saucony Shadows which were stiff as boards...even when it was time to finally retire them. These are not anything like that.
